About Us

One day a small group of people got together to define the ideal real estate investment. They asked themselves what this investment would have to look like before they would consider it for their own portfolios. They identified the barriers to entry, and one by one, eliminated them. Then, they were ready to spread the word.

A privately held real estate investment group specializing in the acquisition of quality condominium properties, the Diversified Business Group is the convergence of three independent companies with expertise in the fields of finance, business development and construction management.

We offer a collection of completely renovated, professionally managed, self-financing properties to our investors for their own portfolios. We do this in a completely transparent, easily accessible and comfortable way—a way that we believe truly reflects who we are as individuals and business professionals. Our clients become investors with minimal cash outlay, thanks to our unique Return of Capital component that puts money back into your bank account. All financing and legal arrangements are handled by our own lawyers and mortgage specialists who negotiate with the banks for the best rates and terms. All of this is performed on your behalf. We take care of all the prescribed renovations of your units and of the buildings. Our properties are professionally managed, meaning you will never have to worry about dealing with a tenant—ever! And with our unique rental pooling structure, you'll receive rent payments, even if your unit(s) are unoccupied!

Working with local appraisers who really know their markets, we select solid properties that have long-term potential in vibrant heritage communities. We renovate beyond what is absolutely necessary adding quality and years of life to the suites and buildings.

We hire property managers who are experts in their field, understand our goals and can meet our standards. Even after a building is converted and occupied, we hold regular meetings to address ongoing property performance issues. In this way, we "manage the managers." Our system of thorough reporting and feedback helps create a culture of accountability, ensuring that the investment is on firm footing for all of us.
